We started off by narrowing down our client’s needs into one category, joint pain and hyperextension, more specifically, his knuckle joints. We needed to come up with something that was comfortable, affordable and effective and so taking into account all these objectives, we got to work. We started off with an initial prototype (image 2,3) made of cardboard to visualize what the final refined product would look like. After some feedback from profs as well as our peers, we got started on the refined product. Modelling and 3D printing parts that would assemble together and lock into place and gluing them to the case of a phone as well as a sweatband that would wrap around the hands of the user. After a bit of adjustments and a few hours of 3D printing we had our final product (images 4-6)
